Saturday 5th January was the Public Open Day for our new school. We had around 900 visitors! Everybody was very impressed with our new building. Many of our pupils brought their parents along to show them what a wonderful new school we have.
Our P7 pupils and parents used the event to raise money for the Lagganlia trip through providing refreshements, playing the fiddle and showning people around the building. They raised just under £600 towards their trip.
The Orcadian and Radio Orkney were there to record the event. Watch out for us appearing in the paper this week and on the radio. Many thanks to all the staff, parents and pupils who helped to make this a very special day.
