Stromness Primary School Spring Fair 2013

What a wonderful day we had last Saturday. So many people turned out to support our Spring Fair. Many thanks to everybody who supported the event from donating goods for the stalls, helping on the day or coming along to the Fair. We raised £1224.89 towards our new maths scheme. Well done everybody!

Netball Festival

Stromness Primary hosts a visit from Gold Medal Winner Paralympian David Smith

David Smith, gold medal rower in the July 2013 Paralympic Games visited the school on Monday to talk about his life and give out achievement awards at our assembly.  Many thanks to Active Schools who organised the visit.

Red Nose Day 2013

What a wonderful day we had on Friday 15th March - Red Nose Day 2013.  The whole day was organised by our P7 pupils and teachers and included many stalls and a fantastic talent show.  We raised over £1000 for Comic Relief.  Well done to all those people who helped organise and support the event.  We raised lots of fun for lots of money!
